The subs are probably bad cause it's a native Japanese speaker translating and not a native English speaker, if it were a native English speaker the sentences might be wrong/inaccurate but they would be readable unlike these which are accurate but make no sense at all.

Obviously not, almost every name is wrong in the subs.
I have no idea what language those names are supposed to be, chinese would make sense because of the misreading of Kanji but I'm fairly certain it's not chinese either (unless it's a super weird kind of romanization).
